Jennifer Shoemaker - IA & NE (A&D)

Jennifer Shoemaker is an Interior Designer and multi-line manufacturer’s representative. Based out of Omaha, she covers the states of Nebraska and Iowa for Mayer Fabrics. Her passion for design and textiles started in her childhood and has carried into her career. Jennifer is heavily involved in the local design community and is an active supporter of the local IIDA Great Plains Chapter.

Jennifer loves quality time spent with her husband, John, their two children, Grace and Jace, and their dog, Blue. Together they enjoy National Park explorations that have grown into a passion for hiking, fishing, and being out in nature together. She also enjoys time with friends over a glass of wine, a trip to the garden store to expand her houseplant collection, or on a thrift store adventure. 

A fun fact about Jennifer, growing up she learned how to sew and quilt from her grandma, Betty. She recalls fondly the joy of selecting the perfect textile colors, designs, and textures for their projects together. When she’s on the road, Jennifer enjoys listening to audio books. Favorite books to date are Where the Crawdads Sing, All the Light We Cannot See, and The Nightingale.
