Shannon J. Fortenberry works for Trio+one and proudly represents Mayer Fabrics in the states of Oklahoma and Arkansas. Shannon started her early life in East Tennessee (go Vols) and has loved all the places her journey in A&D sales has taken her. It all started at Knoll in Atlanta after graduating with an interior design degree from the Art Institute of Atlanta. Soon she relocated to Washington, DC, where she continued with Knoll then later with Arc|Com, Momentum and even owned a small rep group. From there, she jumped on the chance to work in Chicago for a major glass company which ultimately brought her to Dallas, Texas. In 2020, Shannon relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma as a Tulsa Remote recipient and began working with her Dallas counterparts at Trio Interior Resources. In 2023, Trio+one was formed.
Beyond working, Shannon serves on the board of trustees for The Tulsa Foundation of Architecture and stays active on their development committee (fund raising). She also enjoys pencil sketching, gardening as well as volunteering for several Tulsa-based organizations including Reading Partnership, Tulsa SPCA and Meals on Wheels. Shannon is a resident of South Tulsa with her partner, Joe, one dog, two cats and a few hermit crabs.
Her favorite Mayer textile is Molecule in color Alloy and Labyrinth color Flax.
